Effective coaching

This program is designed to deepen understanding of human emotions and show how effective coaching addresses business challenges by focusing on the human dimension.

Process

This training covers the problem-solving process, a key business function relevant to leaders at all levels, including top management, department heads, and team leaders.

Coaching skills

The program focuses on coaching skills that improve problem-solving for participants and their teams. These skills include effective questioning, managing and regulating emotions, and leading internal teams.

Strengthen Trust

Developing the ability to interpret non-verbal expressions enables participants to guide conversations and identify the emotional core of issues. Leaders who expect team members to suppress emotions lose valuable insights.

Creating a trusting environment is essential for person-centric coaching, as it encourages open sharing of emotions. In turn, person-centric conversations further strengthen trust within the team.

Assessment

Strong relationships are essential for effective coaching. Without trust, individuals are unlikely to share sensitive or emotional information. Establishing mutual trust helps prevent discomfort or resistance to coaching.

A relationship assessment can identify the interpersonal dynamics that support effective coaching.

Neuroscience & Coaching

This program introduces participants to current neuroscientific research on coaching effectiveness. It focuses on the human brain, highlighting neural processes in different regions. The training emphasizes the role of the brain’s emotional system in decision-making and problem-solving, underscoring the program’s relevance.

Needs & Goals

This session aims to help participants understand key concepts for effective collaboration and team leadership, with a focus on the distinction between needs and goals. Recognizing this difference provides deeper insight into team members’ behavior during challenges.

Leadership Styles

Next, we will connect individual psychological needs to leadership approaches for both self and others. By aligning each need with a leadership style, participants can examine their “leadership baseline” from a new perspective. This process helps participants gain deeper insight into their emotional responses to challenges.

Emotional States

Understanding emotional states helps participants assess whether their reactions to problems are effective or ineffective. This approach evaluates emotions by their outcomes rather than ignoring them or labeling them as “good” or “bad.” Recognizing both individual and team emotional states is essential for practical coaching.

Inner Effect

The Effect principle includes three elements: inner effect, core effect, and result effect. The inner effect focuses on self-leadership through targeted questions and practices. It involves assessing personal Ego states, identifying focus areas, formulating key questions, and selecting entry points for problem-solving. Applying the inner effect to a specific issue helps establish a productive mindset for effective problem resolution.

Outer Effect

The Outer Effect consists of two components: the Core Effect and the Results Effect. The Core Effect uses targeted questions and practices to identify the root cause of a problem, which often relates to emotions, organizational processes, structures, or skills and experience. The Results Effect focuses on the approach used to solve the problem, with established best practices available for most business challenges.
